moviecameraThis short video features the Ministries of BLC.  The video was presented at the Nebraska Synod Assembly in May 2014.  Since the production in May 2014, Bethlehem has transitioned to a new Church Council President, Ryan Ideus and Robert Hayden is our current pastor.

Bethlehem Lutheran Church has been a central part of the Wahoo community, serving the needs of many by opening up our sanctuary, fellowship hall, and meeting rooms to non-profit organizations and community groups. Jesusinchurch

Alcoholics Anonymous, Boy Scouts, Kiwanis, Mom’s Club, Narcotics Anonymous, Red Cross Blood Mobile, Teammates, Tim Houfek Voice & Piano Instruction, and Wahoo Backpack Program are housed and supported at BLC.  Other local ministries supported by BLC include the People’s City Mission of Lincoln, Nebraska, Women’s Crisis Center of Fremont, Nebraska, and the Wahoo Food Pantry, Wahoo, Nebraska.

A video ministry has been in place for several years. All services are recorded on DVD and then distributed to the care centers in Wahoo and to those desiring a copy.

The above photo is a statue of Jesus that was originally at the altar at BLC.  It now stands high overlooking the sanctuary in front of stained glass windows allowing light to surround and reflect.
